Man, Donald Trump is not having a good time. I’ve often predicted that women would be his downfall, but I wasn’t expecting it to come from his own trafficking victims. I figured it would be his family members or women in Congress.
Well, I digress. Here’s the recap so far:
The Epstein Files have been partially released. That one Democrat who the GOP kept trying to keep out of Congress has been sworn in. Some of the emails have been released.
Donald Trump is apparently in a full-blown panic, going so far as to personally reach out to people who signed for the release in an attempt to get them to unsign it. Because apparently, that’s something an innocent person would do. So far, Boebert and the other ones seem to have declined to do so.
Epstein has been liked to saying, “I know how dirty Donald Trump is,” among other things. Apparently he also said something along the lines of Trump not having a single good cell in his body.
There is now evidence that Trump spent “hours” at his home with a person later identified as a victim. This is one of those things that totally sounds innocent, bigly so. (I’m being sarcastic.)
Basically, shit hit the fan with those Epstein emails and it’s tearing the GOP apart—even if it doesn’t look that way right now. Considering that much of his voter base does not seem to care that he’s been linked to a pedophile ring, it’s hard to imagine these emails being the final nail in the coffin.

So why do I say that this could be the big “IT” for the GOP?
It’s simple: it’s the stigma that comes with defending sex offenders. As someone who has a friend who had a sex offense charge, I’ve had to explain to people that I believed that people can change. And I saw how my friend changed, how he atoned, and how he went into therapy for it.
I’ll be honest: most people will not understand why I am okay with hanging out with him. I’ve gotten flak for it. My line of thought is that if he doesn’t have some support, someone to have faith in his change, then why would he try to change? Obviously, if he does it again, we’re through. But my point still stands.
