Note: This article is here to inspire some hope.
As many readers know, I’m very “woo woo.” I use tarot cards. I do “Tarot for America” on Substack. I also tend to be the person who tends to read horoscopes and put some weight into them.
Still, I respect and understand the more grounded of us who don’t believe in astrology or horoscopes or tarot or spiritual stuff. It can be a bunch of junk if you are a bit too gullible or just get the wrong reading.
Once in a while, though, there’s a reading that makes my jaw drop. Such is the case with this one from Vanity Fair. (Here’s the link, if you want to see it.)
In 2006, an in-house astrologer at Vanity Fair made a shocking prediction.

His name is Michael Lutin, and he’s gained a fair amount of fame over the past 20 years. (He recently passed, so don’t go asking for a booking.) Lutin was one of the first people to write about the Pluto transit — the same one that has happened every 250 years, during major revolutions.
In 2006, there was no inkling in most people’s eyes that we would have the type of turmoil we’re seeing now. We just wanted Obama to become president, man. We always assumed America would just be the calm, chill place with fun parties and loving family-style sitcoms.
However, Lutin’s view of the future was quit shocking and on point. Our country has become a nervous wreck. The subtle simmering of tensions and issues boiled over, like pasta that remained unwatched for ages. It’s been brutal.
His prediction was that the world of big business would become too intertwined with the government, with a lot of “mask off” moments where it becomes clear that the American Dream is more of an American Nightmare for many.
Though many of the Baby Boomer generation became the worst proponents of oppression, Lutin’s right about how many of the “old hippies” have come out of retirement to fight for the freedoms we so afford.
I loosely remembered seeing this article back then. Or maybe I thought I saw it. Either way, I remember reading about dangers to come, having a chill down my spine, and telling myself, “There’s no way it could be that bad. Everything will be fine.”
Since Lutin’s article, hundreds of other articles have talked at length about Pluto’s return.
Pluto only comes around once every 250 years. Other planets (or pseudoplanets) that have been linked to rough cycles are also closing in around us now. Technically, we’re in “peak chaos.”

This commenter pointed out something pretty scary: Uranus in Gemini (one of the movements we’re seeing right now) has been linked to war quite a bit. In fact, it was also seen in World War II — a time that is remarkably uncannily like our own now.
There is some good news about America’s future, though. Some astrologers have also mentioned that America’s chart shows that we’re heavily influenced by protective planets, so “we’ll never go totally broke or hungry.”
So what did Lutin see after the 2025 mark…?
Lutin’s article notes that America is going to be rattled to its core. What once worked will no longer be “business as usual,” but rather, the end of an era. We’re going to have to become different — and face our shadow sides, so to speak.
The era of Capricorn, also known as the “Big Business” sign, is ending. We’re going to enter a new age where community and working with one another to achieve balance will have to happen.
So there is some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that Lutin said it would get ugly, possibly even uglier than it has already. The good news is that the outcome and the charts for the United States looks a lot better by the 2030s.
This prediction is uncanny, but it’s always smart to take things with a grain of salt.
Look man, I’m a psychic reader. I read professionally for those who are in need. However, I’m aware that “woo woo’ stuff is never something you should put all your faith in. All any spiritualist can see is a snapshot of the energy as it is, in the direction it’s headed now.
We all have free will. What we think and what we do changes the future just as much (if not more) than a voodoo curse or a psychic reading. Right now, the world is watching to see what’s going on with Trump, MAGA, and America.
After all, whether we like to admit it or not, our collective chose the path that we’re on right now. Had we been more anti-Nazi, had we upheld the Fairness Doctrine, and had we gotten more hardcore about civil rights, we wouldn’t be here.
With that said, I have a prediction of my own.
The one thing I think will become very commonplace in the future is the number of people saying, “I don’t know why people were shocked that Trump won. What happened in the 2020s was inevitable. People just weren’t willing to work with one another until everyone was hurting.”

Happy porn star days!
