Man, today has been a big day for a lot of people.

I just saw on the news that the war in Gaza has ended, with Palestinians being given the right to head home and exist without a fear of being killed for things like going out for food. The remaining hostages have also been sent home, reunited with family members.

I’m so thrilled for them. The nightmare is over, at least for now. And oddly enough, I had a decent day too. While I was not exactly celebrating the end of a war that directly affected me, I did get the heads up that I officially made my first $10,000 on Substack — despite the gag going on with my writing.
